South Brooklyn Sanctuary is a grassroots effort and cannot operate without new volunteers.

Our team will work with you to identify a role that fits your skills and interests. We need volunteers to help people filing out their own immigration forms, provide translation, print personal documents, assist with referrals to outside legal providers and accompany people to Immigration Court and ICE appointments. We also welcome fundraising support, including help with grant writing, fundraising events and collecting in-kind donations. ​​​

New volunteer Zoom orientations are held on the first Tuesday of each month at 1pm and at 5pm. We can arrange individual orientation sessions for prospective volunteers who cannot attend at those times.
